Guilin is considered to be one of the most scenic and cultural cities with a long history in China.
There is a popular saying that “the mountains and waters of Guilin are the finest under the heaven.”

Day 1 – GUILIND
Arrive Guilin. Meet and greet at Airport then transferred to Hotel of your choice

Special greeting at Hotel: -
- Children dressed in minority tribes costume to give out welcome package or souvenir

Express check in while serving Chinese tea and refreshment

Welcome Cave Party
The Reed Flute Cave will be converted into a spectacular dining room with color lighting, floral arrangement, candlelight, AV equipment and entertainment.

The Reed Flute Cave is a huge cavern called the Nature’s Art Gallery eroded out of limestone lined with stalactites and stalagmites in the forms of pillars, screens and flowers which offers you 30 breathtaking scenic spots. At the Crystal Palace - the biggest hall in this Cave while enjoying the culinary delights, guests can marvel at the cathedral like splendour of this magnificent cave and listen to the echoing melody of the Chinese string quartet.

Day 2 – GUILIND
Excitement in the peaceful city ……

This morning we will cycle through the bustling Guilin city to the Yao Mountain(16km, about 45 minute) then take a cable car up to the top to enjoy a tremendous bird’s eye view of the hills and mountains surrounding the city. Chance to try an exciting toboggan ride down (800 m in height & 2 minute to slide down) the mountain.

Visit the Ming Tomb guarded by ancient stone soldiers. On the way back before you enter the city you could see thousands of tombs buried from centuries, which bring you long history of this Eastern Ancient Kingdom. After lunch, coach ride to visit Fubo Hill and Elephant Trunk Hill. The Fubo Hill is broken on all sides with its strata exposed like chains and strips.

If time permits, we can participate in Cormorant Fishing – this is a unique fishing in China existing for hundreds of years. A rope is tied around the well-trained cormorants’ neck to prevent them swallow the big catch. We will take a short boat ride to get close to their work site and view the birds at work.

Day 3 – GUILIND
Golf time ……

Early morning drive to Xingan(60km) and spend a day at Merryland Golf Club for keen golfers.

Day 4 – GUILIN
Be amazed by the ancient wisdom ……

Morning tour to see the 2,000 year old Ling Canal built in 214 BC, the oldest canal in the world and one of the three Chinese Grand Irrigation Works. Sailing on the canal you will be deeply impressed by the wisdom of the Chinese people.

Day 5 - GUILIN - YANGSHUO
A Heavenly cruise.

It is definitely the prime highlight of a trip to Guilin, as you will enjoy the wonderful cruise on the crystal clear LI RIVER with the rising and falling hills which look like colour silk ribbon on the riverbank. The spectacular river cruise reveals the true beauty of China's heartland with its hundreds of fairy-like rock formations. Along the way one will be rewarded with scenes of a multitude of waterfront and farming activities and the fascinating sight of fishermen using cormorant birds to catch fish. The cruise ends in Yangshuo, 40 miles of Guilin, a town that boasts of one of the area's most colourful local markets for gifts and souvenirs.

In the evening, explore the popular "Foreigner's Street" and markets around. Foreigners' Street is a 1000 metre long street and is the most amazing section of Yangshuo. The street is full of souvenirs shop, bar, Internet caf? and restaurants and signboards are all in English. At night, the restaurants are crowded with diners. With facades decorated stylishly with tree bark, palm leaves and colourful lights, these restaurants all boast their own masterpieces. Many of their western dishes are learned from their customers. It is quite common that some long staying tourists will find a job as a cook in this Street.

Day 6 - YANGSHUO - GUILIN
Hiking day ……

Bicycle or coach ride to Aishan Village and start to hike (10km) through rice paddies surrounded by green mountains and waters to the Moon Hill and the 1,300 years old Big Banyan Tree. The Moon Hill is a hill with a natural hole on the spire. From different angles the hole looks like the moon changing from crescent to full. It is 8 km from Yangshuo Town. The Big Banyan Tree is a big banyan tree as old as 1400 years. It's luxuriant leaves covers an areas of a hundred square meters. It is 7 kilometres from Yangshuo Town and surrounded by crystal-clear water of Li River and elegant-shaped bamboo.
Bicycle ride back to Yangshuo (12km) for lunch. In the afternoon return to Guilin for flight out.

On Top
