With true Italian passion for embracing the best that life has to offer, the Lefebvre family of Rome conceived of a pioneering company that would offer an experience of personal travel unrivalled in the world. Like most success stories, the idea was simple. Specially designed ships with renowned European style that would be as elegant and spacious as some of the finest hotels, as warm and inviting as gracious homes. The components would be customized and complimentary, providing for each guest’s individual
tastes. The name “Silversea” was chosen as it connotes quality and luxury, and captures the romance and sensations of the sea.

What began as a truly original and innovative vision has since evolved into a sublime blend of sophisticated lifestyle, alluring worldwide destinations and international appeal — the signature elements that inspired the first Silversea voyage and have defined every voyage since.

With similar passion, the Lefebvre family has established The Maruzza Lefebvre D’Ovidio Foundation, a charitable organi z ation supported by Silversea and dedicated to providing comprehensive palliative care services that embrace the lives of terminally ill patients and their families.

The Restaurant encircles its guests with sophisticated elegance and impeccable service. Each evening, contemporary, international cuisine is created by our talented chefs and enhanced by “La Collection du Monde”, a series of signature dishes created exclusively for Silversea by Relais & Chateaux.

LA TERRAZZA
Or opt for a divine selection of Italy’s best cuisine served a la carte in La Terrazza. Authentic recipes and the freshest ingredients come together with flair and passion — a flavourful expression of Silversea’s distinctive heritage.

WINE RESTAURANT BY RELAIS & CHATEAUX
The only Wine Restaurant by Relais & Chateaux at sea can be found aboard the ships of Silversea. Indulge in an evening where fine wines are complemented by a set tasting menu of regionally inspired dishes. An extraordinary six-course experience celebrating the world’s most distinguished wine regions.
