Afterwards take a 3-hour boat trip through on of the most fantastic as well as beautiful parts of Thailand with hundreds of little and large odd-shaped limestone formations jutting out of the water, with many silent islands and mangroves, and with a huge cave. This is the location where the James Bond film "The man with the Golden Gun" was made. Stop for lunch at the Moslem Village of Ko Panyi, built on stilts out in the open sea. The first seafaring settlers arrived here some 300 years ago. This is a tour you should not miss.

Excursion to the north of Chiang Mai to visit an elephants working site. Watch the elephants taking their daily bath in the stream before beginning to haul timber in the forest.
