Itinerary:
Day 1 - Hanoi - Lao Cai - Sapa (-/-/-)
Evening transfer to Hanoi railway station. 10-hour train trip in comfortable, air-conditioned sleeping-compartments of Victoria Carriages.

Day 2 - Sapa (B/L/-)
Early morning arrival at Lao Cai, the border town to Yunnan. A scenic 38 km drive on winding roads up the mountains brings you to Sapa, approx. 1500 km above sea level. On clear days you can see the highest mountain of Vietnam, the Fansipan. After a continental breakfast at the hotel you have time to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape from your balcony. Late morning a Russian Jeep brings you to the rim of a deep valley followed by a trek which will take you to the rattan bridge and Ta Van village, home to H¡¦mong, Dzao and Dzay minorities. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit to Ta Phin and Cat Cat villages. Late afternoon stroll to the famed love market in Saps town, where numerous minority people in their colourful costumes gather from the surrounding villages. Accommodation at Victoria Sapa Hotel.

Day 3 - Sapa ¡V Hanoi (B/L/-)
Breakfast. Day at leisure. Climb up Sapa hill, only a short walk from you hotel with it¡¦s mystic rock formations, rare orchids and flowers, stroll through the small alleys of the town center, or just relax around the indoor pool of your hotel, visit the sauna, play a round of billards. Lunch at hotel. Late afternoon transfer to Lao Cai railway station and overnight train ride to Hanoi in comfortable sleeping compartments of Victoria carriages.

Day 4 - Hanoi (-/-/-)
Early morning (approx. 0400) arrival at Hanoi railway station and transfer to your hotel or Hanoi airport.
