Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival in Luang Prabang and city tour (D)
Arrive Luang Prabang by QV646 from Bangkok Meet at Luang Prabang airport .Transfer to the hotel . Visit Luang Prabang highlights , visits to Royal Palace , Wat Pa Houak with its very beautiful eighteen century paintings restored recently by a Chiang Mai University''s team. Continue the visit of Wat Xiengthong , the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang and visit of the" Heritage House" , a very beautiful former wooden aristocratic mansion restored by UNESCO. Dinner and accommodation

Day 2 - Luang prabang - Pak Ou Cave (B/L/D)
After breakfast . Proceed to Wat Xienthong pier , embark in a traditional boat to across the Mekong River on the opposite side to Wat Longkhoun . Continue the cruise on Mekong river to Pak Ou caves where housing hundreds of Buddha images . Pic-nic lunch.
p.m. Return to Luang Prabang by boat on the way stop over at Ban Xang Hai, a village of rice alcohol distillery. Visit Ban Phanom , a weaving village renown for its wonderful silk production made for Luang Prabang Royal Palace during ancient time. Dinner and accommodation

Day 3 - Luang Prabang - Muang Nan - Pak Neun (B/L/D)
After breakfast . Excursion by car to Ban Pak Khone via Mouang Xieng Ngeun and Mouang Nane. On the way stop over to visit Ban Thong Pong a hill tribe village , during the trip along side the road , plantations of teak wood could be seen.
Lunch at local restaurant at Nane. Continue the visit to Ban Pac Neune . During fishing season fishers will catch fishes along side the Mekong River .During March to May at the Keng Luang (Grand Rapid) reputed to be extremely dangerous one can see some non motorized traditional boat trying to struggle against the deadly streams. Baci ceremony will be offered to intrepid travellers as a symbol of warm welcome , it will be also a good opportunity to sing and dance around a good meal.

Day 4 - Pak Neun - Paklay by boat (B/L/D)
After breakfast, continue the trip on traditional boat to Paklay , a former hot season King's station .En route stop over at Ban Pak Yane and Ban Phaliep. Lunch on boat.
During ancient time Kings used to come to Paklay for the control of the trade of precious wood such as teak wood and others forest products , camphor, musk, rhinoceros horn .. Paklay which is a small village with beautiful wooden houses , near by the beautiful former Royal temple which houses a 17 th century bronze Buddha image , stands the former mixed French " Belle Epoque " style and Lao style "Summer wooden Royal Residence" at present days it is transformed into a provincial administration center.
p.m. Visits to the temple , the Summer Royal Residence and sight seeing around Paklay which were used as former French village garrison. Dinner and accommodation at local guest house.

Day 5 - Paklay - Sanakham by boat (B/L/D)
After breakfast , continue the cruise down Mekong River to Sanakham via Ban Done Men.
Pic-nic lunch en route. Arrive at Sanakham
Dinner and accommodation at the guesthouse.

Day 6 - Sanakham - Hin Heup - Nam Ngum - Vientiane by car (B/L/D)
After breakfast , departure to Vientiane by car , several stops over will be made to visit villages.
Lunch at local restaurant. On the way to Vientiane visit Nam Ngum dam and stop at Ban Keun which is a village specialized in the extraction of salt . Dinner and accommodation at the hotel

Day 7 - Sightseeing in Vientiane (B/L/D)
Breakfast . In the morning free at leisure , Lunch at the hotel.
p.m After lunch . visit the most important monuments of Vientiane , Wat Phrakeo , Wat Sisaket and That Luang stupa.

Day 8 - Vientiane - Departure (B)
After breakfast , free at leisure before transfer to airport for departure .
