6 Days Vientiane - Xieng Khouang - Luang Prabang Tour

Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival Vientiane (L/D)
Arrive Vientiane at Wattay International Airport/Friendship Bridge, transfer to the Lao Plaza Hotel for Lunch.
p.m. City tour to visit Vat Sisaket, Vat Hophrakeo, Patousay, That Luang stupa and fresh market. Dinner and accommodation

Day 2 - Vientiane - Xieng Khouang (B/L/D)
Breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport for departure to Xieng Khouang, transfer to the Phouchanh Resort, then visit Plain of Jars known as the archaeological site of the VIth century, and return to Phonesavanh for lunch.
Afternoon, excursion by car to visit Muang Khoune known as former capital city of Xieng Khouang province as well as visit Hmong and other minorities of Lao Loum (Low Land) villages. Then return to Phonesavanh. Dinner at the hotel and accommodation.

Day 3 - Xieng Khouang - Luang Prabang(B/L/D)
Breakfast, visit local market at Phonesavanh, transfer to airport for departure to Luang Prabang. Transfer to the Phou Vao Hotel for lunch.
p.m. City tour to visit Vat Visoun, Vat Aham, Vat Phousay hill for overlooking Vat Mai and to watch sunset at Vat Siphouthabath Tai. Dinner and accommodation

Day 4 - Luamg Prabang - Pak Ou (B/L/D)
Breakfast, visit Vat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple, then take the traditional boat trip upstream on the Mekong river to visit the famous cave of Pak Ou. On the way stopover at Ban Xang Hai where rice wine distillation can be seen. Vsiit Pak Ou (Tam Ting) known as Buddha cave. Picnic lunch at bamboo cottage on the river overlooking its beautiful sceneries at the confluence between the Mekong and Ou rivers. In the afternoon, return to Luang Prabang and continue by car to visit Ban Phanom, the very wellknown weaving village.
Dinner and accommodation.

Day 5 - Luang Prabang - Vientiane (B/L/D)
Breakfast, visit the national museum (the former king' palace) and transfer to airport.
Depart by Lao Aviation flight for Vientiane.
Arrive Wattay Airport in Vientiane and transfer to the Lao Plaza Hotel.
Lunch in Luang Prabang or in Vientiane (depends on timings of the flight)
p.m. Visit the National Cultural Ethnic Park, Friendship Bridge and Buddha Park.
Dinner and accommodation.

Day 6 - Vientiane - Departure (B)
Breakfast, visit morning market for shopping then transfer to Friendship Bridge or airport for departure.
