Itinerary:


Day 1 - Yangon – Arrival
Meet on arrival at Yangon International Airport and transfer to hotel. Today's sightseeing tour includes the old colonial-style city center with the gilded SULE PAGODA, dating back over 2,000 years, BOGYOKE (SCOTT’S) MARKET with hundreds of stores (closed on Monday) and a visit of a gems shop.

The tour continues to CHAUK HTAT GYI, a huge reclining Buddha image followed by a photo stop made at KARAWEIK HALL, a royal floating barge. Conclude with a visit to SHWEDAGON PAGODA, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments, rising 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Accommodation.

Day 2 - Yangon - Bagan (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Yangon Airport for domestic flight to Bagan. Upon arrival in Bagan, transfer to hotel and proceed for sightseeing starting with the busy local market and continuing on some of the most important pagodas and temples such as SHWEZIGON PAGODA, built in the early 11th century, KU BYAUK GYI, a temple with exquisite murals, KHAY MIN GA TEMPLE, noted for its spectacular panoramic view of the area’s many monuments and ANANDA TEMPLE with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures.

Afternoon, visit to a lacquer craftsmen’s workshop in nearby MYINKABA village and sightseeing to MANUHA TEMPLE, built in Mon style in 1059, NANBAYA TEMPLE, a unique sandstone monument, and MYINGABA GU BYAUKGYI TEMPLE, noted for its ancient mural paintings. Observe sunset in the vicinity of Bagan’s ancient monuments. Accommodation

Day 3 - Bagan – Heho – Pindaya – Inle Lake (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Nyaung Oo (Bagan) Airport for domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival in Heho, proceed by road to Pindaya (65 km - 1 ? hours) to visit PINDAYA CAVES, unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries. Lunch at a simple restaurant. After lunch, drive by road to INLE LAKE (90 km - 2 ? hour). Transfer by boat to the hotel on the lake. Accommodation

Day 4 - Inle Lake (B)
After breakfast, an excursion by boat on the scenic Inle Lake will include sights of the famous leg-rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life. Lunch at a local restaurant on the lake. Further visits are made to PHAUNGDAW OO PAGODA, the weaving village of INPAWKHON and other sights. Accommodation.

Day 5 - Inle Lake – Heho – Yangon (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning visit to a colorful market in the Inle Lake region, then proceed to Heho Airport. Return flight to Yangon. Our car and guide will be at clients’ disposal for further sightseeing or shopping, opportunity to visit Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market (closed on Monday), until departure by international flight in the evening.
